Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM How This Role Works: • Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. • Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed. • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations. • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, observe site activity, and document security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures. • Complete routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation while maintaining professional interactions with tenants, vendors, and visitors in a dynamic property environment. Minimum Requirements: • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. • Be at least 21 years of age. • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
