Key Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises, including guest areas, common areas, back-of-house, and perimeters. Monitor CCTV systems and alarms, responding promptly to any suspicious activity or alerts. Enforce hotel security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and property. Respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or security breaches, following established protocols. Investigate and document all incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities accurately and thoroughly. Provide assistance to guests and staff with security-related concerns or inquiries. Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as required. Manage access control for restricted areas and key management. Conduct bag and package checks as per hotel policy. Assist in maintaining order and crowd control during events or busy periods. Required Skills Proven experience in security operations, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and equipment. Excellent observational and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion. Preferred Qualifications Relevant security certifications (e.g., Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) training).
